In July 1940 Don Federico Acosta Velarde (1896-1944), grandson of Don José Julián Acosta y Calvo and founder of the Nationalist Party in Puerto Rico, presiding over it between 1925 and 1928, revised a text published by the newspaper EL MUNDO in the form of a booklet, pointing out among other things, that his father Don Ángel Acosta Quintero was one of the first magistrates of the First Supreme Court of Puerto Rico before being reorganized in August 1899. Many copies of the first edition have been lost; most of the script's victims of time and unbearable humid environment; now in this second edition once more the work of Don Federico Acosta Velarde has his voice and words to be realized and perceived.
